Pens would decline both of those. 1st off, Saad isn't all that good and he doesn't really solve the pens issues.
Second, Zuc is already 31 and would be a rental and not even a very high end one at that.
This team needs to get better on the blue line, they need people to come off IR but that's going to take a while.
They need 1 RHD for the 3rd pairing, and more team speed. Zuc doesn't really bring that.

Hawks arent retaining 2 million on Saad for multiple years for a worse player who has done nothing but look to be overhyped and not even good enough to beat Bryan rust in a larger role.

Both trades are horrible- trade 1 for the pens and trade 2 for the rangers
