Why is trolling applauded? Is it really something to be admired? "Hey this guy is really good and taking meaningful discussion and turning into people getting mad and making fun of each other, he's so good at it." Is that really something we should want? Why have serious, discussions resulting in people learning new perspectives and developing positive connections with other people when we can instead make each other mad and then laugh at whichever person gets victimized by some faceless jerk on the internet.

I am not upset, I am just disappointed in people. At least half of the posts on here are Troll posts and they get more 5 star ratings than non troll posts. People get a kick out of guys pissing off other fan bases and that is just dumb.

"Nice troll job!" Shouldn't be something anyone ever says but it gets said on here often. All I'm saying is why not take pride in being insightful and open to other peoples ideas. In my mind, that is far better than being good at making others look dumb.

You know what most Leaf fans on here think of Nylander? They think he's an excellent hockey player with a very high ceiling. Most want to see him resign and some not so much. I am of the mind that he shouldn't be traded because he won't get a fair return. Do I think he's worth 2 first round picks, 3 elite defenceman and 2 superstars? No. I think he's worth a young up and coming defenceman who has potential to be a #1 and perhaps a draft pick or more of a project type prospect. Do I think he'll get a return like that? No, other teams hold on to defenceman like that with a death grip as they should. So that is why I say don't trade him. But saying what I said doesn't mean anything on here, because that is not what people read it seems. Most non Leaf fans will read that and then say I think Nylander is worth at least 3 firsts, Seth Jones and McDavid, which if you have been following along, was not at all said.
