im very interested in the crosby vs mcdcvid part of this...... crosby at 18 and 0 concussion.... vs mcdavid

also ovechkin who at 19 scored 49 goals...... this would be interesting

im just gonna do forwards, D, and goalie separately since its way easier:
1- Crosby (injuries derailed him in his offensive prime, look at his PPG stats from 2011-2013. thats another 3 art Rosses)
2- Mcdavid (you can probably argue that mcdavid is #1 but ill take Sid there and mcJesus is a step behind)
3- ovi (best goal scorer of all time)
4- malkin (no comment needed)
5- Thornton (true HOFer, never won a cup (yet) but he's a beast and the best centre of the pre Crosby era)
6- kane (more proven than Matthews, hart, art ross, Lindsey, conn Smyth, 3 cups)
7-matthews (sky is the limit for him)

then ranking D id go
1-karlsson (best d since lidstrom imo)
2- doughty (race is so tight between him and hedman but 2 cups>0
3-hedman (could replace doughty with a cup but ill leave him here right now)

and then price

I can't argue with that list and im extremely happy with the Thornton ranking......the guy was so good for a very long time

yeah Nate mack could be swapped for matthews but solid list........btw matthews first 2 season were better than Nate mack.......just saying

For me it’s a toss up between doughty and Crosby, and no one else is in the conversation
