It’s mcdavid bud, generation player. Bruins haven’t had a guy that good since Bobby Orr

LOL Bud? such a passive aggressive insult that is right up there with "dude"

Seriously though, for a player of McDavid's skill why wouldn't EDM ask for Carlo too? For EDM, McDavid is your team so if you're trading him you basically need to trade for a whole team.

Lmao didn’t mean to sound passive aggressive I just use “bud, buddy, dude, etc”
I mean Edmonton would not trade Mcdavid this early in his contract so I couldn’t even put a value on him. Probably would cost Carlo too

Yeah about that.
There isn't that big of a difference between Pasta and McDavid.
I mean hell at this point he might crack 60 goals this year. And he's already got 2 seasons of roughly 35 goals.
Not to mention the fact that McDavid is a career 42% faceoffs loser.
GIven the fact that Pasta has put up his numbers putting less time on the ice I'd say they are much closer than you want to admit. You do that math on points per minute and it would be 97 - 108 points for McDavid. Not exactly looking he's worth all that.

dude you're so off. youre comparing a career year from pasta to a typical year for mcdavid. mcdavid will consistently break 100 points if healthy. the gap is absolute massive. not even comparable. Pasta is obviously a very good player but mcdavid is GOD. could go down as top 5 player of all time

a career year? Are you kidding me. He's freaking 22 years old and his points keep going up and up and up....................
For all the hype you try to give McDavid he's got speed and then what. He struggles in the dot, his hand eye isn't the greatest. On top of it the value difference between the players. under 7 mil to 13.
WhatI know is McDavids effectiveness as a player is shrinking. As the whole league gets faster he gets slower. But you can't say that about Pasta's game because it's not about speed. It's about vision and puck skills. You take McDavid off the rush and his ability is limited. You start him in the offensive end and he's a liability to lose puck possession. But with Pasta you don't have such problems. I'm not even a Boston fan and I'd tell you the difference between those two is not as large as you would like to assume. He's the best player on arguably the best line in hockey.
