Not even half serious...just wanted to see what people will say. I don't think Blues should trade Tarasenko personally, but wanted to make a trade to a team I haven't seen yet.

I feel like you’ve gotta shoot big if you’re trading Tarasenko. Maybe Werenski

You aren't getting Klefbom for that package.

That's just completely unrealistic. It'd be nice, but no way does Columbus offer Werenski in any deal. Only shot you'd have is if you also offered Dunn in that trade. Even then, Columbus says hell no

Yeah, that's a pretty weak return.

Is this a Toronto/Edmonton fan? No way you can honestly think Klefbom is worth Tarasenko.

Klefbom for Tarasenko

Vince Dunn has outperformed Klefbom for the last two seasons

I think you don't realize Klefbom's value to the Oilers. Would you trade Parayko for that package? (even still that's not an accurate comparison - imagine trading Parayko for that package if you didn't already have Pietrangelo.)

As I've said, no way does Columbus allow Werenski to go as that would create a massive hole. I agree, it's not the best possible return. Don't think Blues will get full value. I do think Columbus makes sense as a trade partner though.

If I was getting someone of Dunn's caliber who can not only play defense but also quarterback a power play, I would absolutely consider it. Right now, Edmonton doesn't have anyone like Dunn. Meanwhile, they have a guy just like Klefbom. His name is Darnell Nurse maybe you've heard of him.

Klefbom's skill-set is quite different from Nurse’s.

They're both solid defenders, but Nurse plays with an edge. Again, Edmonton doesnt have anyone like Dunn right now. Bouchard could be that player, but not for at least a year. If they had more offense from defense then McDavid and Draisaitl wouldn't have to do everything themselves

Sorry STL fans, but is Vlad much better than I thought? Imo cbjs offer isnt weak. Anderson is looking like a 35 goal scorer who is super fast and physical, good in every zone and still 24. Carlsson is a former first round pick and our best d prospect, and two firsts. Imo that seems like an overpayment, but maybe I'm judging Vlad wrong?

The initial trade was Anderson, Milano and 2019 first. But it was generally accepted as being an underpayment. Personally though, I think a package like this is fair as Tarasenko is locked up for 5 years. I love Anderson and the game he plays though, but is a non-dirty version of Tom Wilson really. Tarasenko can do everything. Set up plays, snipe. Only he and Ovechkin have scored at least 30 each of the last 5 seasons. This new trade was amended to reflect the value others had.

Werenski can't play defense and had been demoted to the 3rd pair this season

Ovechkin is the only guy with more goals in the past 4 seasons. and Tarasenko has more 5v5 goals than Ovi.

(And his 5v5 GF% leads the NHL at over 60% over the last 3 seasons)

You are saying you won't trade Klefbom for a RHD who is better than Klefbom, and Blais who has top 6 upside? Bruh goodnight. You are the next Chiarelli Big Mans. Instead of making a Hall for Larsson trade that you win you done screwed up. I won't ever take you seriously in another ACGM again LOL. Like dang.

Tarasenko worth way more Werenski maybe, but I feel like it would have to be PLD as well.

RHD who is better than Klefbom? I don't see any such player in the trade proposal above.

LHD I mean, but still Dunn is better than Klef already I wouldn't even accept this deal as a Blues fan.

He can play defense pretty well, but like Parayko last season, has struggled to start this season. But he can play pretty well. He's a 1st tier defenseman. It's not the first time a number 1 defenseman has struggled. Columbus won't trade Werenski. Besides, if you think Tarasenko is worth that much you might as well try to get Provorov who is better.

I know CBJ fans, they said they'd do Tarasenko and Dunn for werenski in instant. Then apologized, they didn't realize it was this bad in St Louis

Well they'd get Dunn as a replacement for Werenski plus Tarasenko so it's hard to not say no. He can play though. If the Blues were going to go after a defenseman though, like I said before I'd go for Provorov or McAvoy
