cap went up by 5M
This is my thoughts. In 2020, Donato will sign a more team friendly deal with his hometown team. Debrusk finds himself happy in Boston and signs for a 2/3 year deal. Bjork doesn't shine during 2018 and 2019 signs a 3 year deal at a lower price (2~3.5M). Celeharik does decent but signs 2 year contract at around 2M to 3M. Krug is signed to 8 year deal at around 4M for such a long term deal. Miller and Grizz doesn't sign for a lot especially Grizz who is a RFA and usually signs for less. Dzingel might not come back to Boston in 2020 but yeah. Thats my thought. I think its a decent plan for next year's salary issues. I probably underpaying a few guys but I think its fine...

Trades
BOS
  1. 2020 1st round pick (SJS)
Additional Details:
Ryan Dzingel (trade done in 2018~2019)

Conditional 2020 1st: If the SJS 2020 1st round turns into a top 10 pick, Ottawa has the choice to send Sens 2020 1st if the pick is not a playoff pick (16 and over) or 2021 SJS Unconditional pick if they have it or 2021 Sens 1st.
OTT
  1. Fitzgerald, Ryan
  2. Nordström, Joakim
  3. 2020 4th round pick (BOS)
  4. 2020 6th round pick (BOS)
Additional Details:
2019 First round

Unconditional 2020 6th: If Boston doesn't resign Dzingel, there would not be a 6th round pick. Solution: Boston does resign Dzingel so 2020 6th round pick will also be sent.

Honestly, I think it is quite a fair trade. Is it?

Raising the cap by that much will result in a Lockout tbh. 84 is too big of an upgrade. 82M is estimately about where the cap next year will be.

Alright, probably just not resigning Dzingels and the cap should be within

I would say McAvoy wants more. Carlo probably too unless you want to move it to 2 years as a bridge deal.

was trying to get him until 25. Than he have one more year on RFA. I thought 5.25M for 4 is fair. Was deciding was it enough or should be at 6M

you're a good poster, and i don't want to rip ya, but whatsup with some of these contracts?
FIrst, the big one....just give McAvoy his 8 years 7.5. Let's not **** with him. Just get him for as much of his prime as possible.
I'm a huge Heinen fan, and while he's always going to be a good player because of his two way game and board presence, he's struggling offensively this year, and that's what gets the cash. If this keeps up 2 million for 3 years is fine.
You're giving two million dollars to an AHL player that has proven zero at the NHL level (Donato).
Krug isn't taking 4 million, he wants 7.
Cehlarik at 3 million? Make the NHL first kid.

etc etc etc

1. thanks for the complements.
2. I know I know... But than, we would lose someone, and thats not my biggest interest here... It all depends on McAvoy now, and I don't think he has asked for an contract yet.
3. Yeah I know... Heinen, I wish he does something at the end of this year, like a bounceback... He needs it, and we need it. so yeah...
4. Donato is on a bridge deal on 1 year... I don't know how well he will do in the NHL. He is doing not bad with 8 GP and 7 points last time I checked. I could be wrong but idk... depends how he does after he gets called back up, which probably won't happen.
5. IDK about Krug. I mean the contract carries him until hes what, 36 or something. IDK how long term he wants to stay in Boston and how much chemistry he has in the room so I thought a long term deal at less cash should work. idk about this one so yeah...
6. Cehlarik probably won't sign if lower. We kinda are lessening his time in the NHL, which he probably is ready with that type of preseason. idk though

I've been really rusty recently. IDK why I have been really bad at measuring contract recently... need to find the feeling again... Yeah, this is quite a bad ACGM. I agree...

yeah... I was told by quite a few people already... 8 by 8 is a little too early for him in my opinion but I could be wrong... Lets see how he does after this injury

exactly what has donato done to deserve that contract? They kicked him to the AHL this year.
Here is his contract for next year. 2 years 945,000 per. (1.05 per RFA rules)
It should be a two way contract.
Boston should pay him no greater than what the Penguins paid Sprong last year. I don't know how boston fans try to over pay this kid he hasn't done anything to deserve it. Yet you are over here worried about him signing a "team friendly deal" like he's Conner McJesus or something. He's in providence dude!
Not to mention some of these other players Bjork? Will he even be on the team next year. He's got 1 goal in 20 games. Celeharik??? really.
Give me a Boston jersey sign me up. I'll take millions of dollar for playing badly no problem.
