Guhle and the St Louis pick are the only pieces with value going to Chicago

Quantity doesn’t equal quality. It would take at least 2 1st round picks and that being said early to middle picks to grab Kane plus a solid prospect and role player. Plus, very unlikely KANE waives even to go to his birthplace of Buffalo.

You may as well just admit you know nothing about the Sabres prospects or system.

You may as well just admit that the Hawks aren't getting fleeced on a franchise player just because you want him to come home.

Fleeced, an NHLer, a 21 year old whos a top 4 dman on Chicago right now, a 21 year old winger with pedigree whos finally maturing into the player we thought, a 20 year old versatile middle 6 forward, a possible top 10 pick next year, plus a 2nd and another prospect. Super fleeced

Guhle is not a top 4 defensemen, even on the Hawks. You also forgot about the two cap dumps we're taking back in Okposo and Berglund. If the Hawks are dealing Kane, which would signify a rebuild, why would we take on two big contracts? Makes no sense. The Hawks would rather have two or three quality assets coming back, not 4 "ok" prospects, 2 picks, and 2 cap dumps.

This makes sense to me. Chicago takes on 9 mill worth of okposo and berglund for a few years and gets guhle, nylander, davidsson, probably a lottery first next year, and a second for kane and kruger. Kinda guts our #2 ranked prospect system, but you gotta give to get. And 30 year old wingers making 10.5 for 5 more years, ya know, thats what id be willing to give.

I don't agree with littjerryseinfeld oftenhappy , but he is correct. Here's my thought Sabres are a former poor club trying to establish their own identity. Nothing against Kane, but Sabres need their own group of players to be the "new" Sabres. Sabres should save cap, develop their own and add wisely. Adding 10.5m, along with 10 Eichel and Skinner's new contract possibly...that's a lot of high end cap. Wasn't that the demise of the Hawks?

I mentioned Okposo. Again were back to you knowing nothing about the Sabres prospects. They aren't just "ok". 2 of them already have NHL experience

I think the Sabres need a skilled guy that has a ring and knows how to win, and I'd be ok with them giving up great assets for a player like that. If they don't, they still have these players which is still a good situation. It's a win-win for Buffalo, no matter what these clowns on here think about the Sabres prospect pool

You said "an NHLer". Great man, if you want an NHLer we'll give you Seabrook too. NHL experience doesn't mean they're high end prospects, which is what it would cost for a top-10 NHL player in Patrick Kane.

So you're saying, a cap dump in Berglund, an aging middle 6 winger in Okposo who also carries a 6M cap hit, a bust in Alex Nylander, Cronholm who will top out as a 6th defender, Davidsson who seems to be a middle 6 winger, Guhle is good, I'll give you that, a probable 2020 1st that won't be a top 10 pick since St Louis will be better, and a future 2nd, is worth a franchise player?

Please, come on, it's Patrick ****ing Kane you're talking about here. No way Chicago takes that deal
