Honestly, this team isn't any worse. They're just younger and more talented. Not a bad idea for the Blues if the trades go through. The TOR trade does seem to be a bit of an overpay. I'd downgrade the first to a second.

I mean I did retain 2.5 mill on pietrangelo so they could keep him this year and then trade Zaitsev in the summer

Good conversation. If you retain salary on Pietrangelo then that will take you a long way with TOR. Enough for them to give up a first? I'm not sure cuz Liljegren and Kapanen are first rounders as well.
