I agree.

It'll be tough finding a long term solution immediately. I think it'll be a combination of things unfortunately. A vet down on their luck getting new scenery...Maybe it's Darling, but in a Bickell esk type return. Not sure CAR wants to do that, but CHI's not exactly jumping up and down to solve other people's problems. The other thing that WILL happen is prospects stepping up for more net time. Forsberg and Delia are both progressing. Forsberg a bit further along simply because of last year's NHL time. Delia is 24 and needs a bit more development IMO, but actually is the best net minder in the entire AHL...statistically speaking...so not a terrible option. What I don't want to do, is PANIC and trade for a goalie tomorrow....because they're not a contender tomorrow.

Ward is a dumpster fire in net. He is a UFA at the end of the year and Nashville doesn't really need the depth dman. Rinne is 35 and beyond Saros, we don't have anyone with a good amount of NHL experience. Saros isn't for sale barring a completely ridiculous overpayment.
