Description

YEs the defence is horrible, but we could run 7 dmen??? Idk what to think, but I know that our depth dmen need to get ice time if we ever want to improve on this D-Core. TBH Rosen or Borgy should get some chance at the NHL, they've looked great in AHL - maybe an injury occurs???

Yes I separated Marner and Tavares, but I love this lineup because it gives every line some serious talent, and Marner can get Kadri and Marleau started. Once they start going, maybe switch him and Kappy??? All i know is that Tavares with those two would be amazing, and we didn't pay Willy to sit with kadri and not get anything done.

I honestly want to see Matthews and Marner play together with Kapanen. I dont know why Babs hates that idea

Maybe Dubas said no so he doesn’t have to pay them both 15m next season lol. But really I like the lines how they are. Spread the talent across the top 9. Get some better match ups.

I agree that Marner and Tavares should play together, but I think a game or two they should do this to let Nylander get setup with Matthews without playing 22 minutes per night lmao. With these lines we can go 18 minutes each, pus 6-7 for the 4th line. With PP and PK added on, we would have a really good balance.

Marner should play on the 4th with Lindholm and Ennis, that way he won't hit 90+ points and can't demand 9+ million. Same goes for Kappy, move Brown up and play Kappy on the 3rd.

Because Matthews and Marner both control play too much. You don't put them on the same line cause there won't be enough puck touches for both of them. It's smart to keep them apart so you have 2 dominant lines instead of just 1
