A lot of people compare the two to eachother so I want to solve this once and for all and ask the hockey fans of the world on what they think

I'd say it's even better than that class. We've got the best player in the world in Connor McDavid. Franchise talents like Jack Eichel, Mitch Marner, Mikko Rantanen, Mat Barzal, Sebastian Aho and Brock Boeser. Potential Norris winners in Ivan Provorov, Thomas Chabot and Zach Werenski. This isn't even mentioning the guys like Timo Meier, Noah Hanifin, Kyle Connor, and Jake Debrusk. We've got more guys with untapped potential like Dylan Strome, Pavel Zacha, Colin White, Joel Eriksson-Ek, Jack Roslovic, Denis Guryanov and Anthony Beauvillier. Plus Ilya Samsonov hasn't cracked the NHL yet.

There is so much talent in this draft class that it's going to go down as the greatest draft class in league history

agreed, and 2015 was 3 years ago. some hidden gems from the later rounds will likely emerge in the following years too

Bingo. Some guys that I didn't mention in this are Lawson Crouse, Noah Juulsen, Nick Merkley, Jacob Larsson, Christian Fischer, Brandon Carlo Travis Dermott, Erik Cernak, JFK, Daniel Sprong, Jordan Greenway, Rasmus Andersson, Oliver Kylington, Vince Dunn, Anthony Cirelli, Adin Hill, Mathieu Joseph, Ethan Bear, Dominik Simon, Kirill Kaprizov, Troy Terry and Adam Gaudette. All of those guys have made NHL impacts with the exception of Kaprizov, who looks like a potential star once he comes over from Russia.

Excellent points made. The super star talent of 2015 far outweighs that of '03. It's not really close, especially at Forward. 2003 had great depth in goal and on defense, no question about it, but '15 has 4 potential 90+ point players this season alone. You can even argue that there are 4 out of the top 10 offensive players in the league right now from the class of '15. And the deciding factor should be that the class of '15's players are mostly just 21 years old! Crazy when you consider several future impact players have yet to play in the NHL.
