I am a fan of the Armia target for the Avs, I think he would be a good fit but Otts 3rd might be too much for him, Avs third would be preferred

Here’s a counter offer from Tampa:

Callahan ($1,857,143 retained) for Tatar, Poehling, Shaw and a 1st

No one wants a 31 year old goalie making 8.5 million for 8 years with a .902 save percentage over the past 2 years

Canes can get a goalie as UFA (even overpay him on a short term deal) and keep all those good assets instead of trading for questionable value in this 2018 version of Price.

I doubt that Johnson waives NTC and his nice situation in Tampa for Montreal. Excellent chance that Callaghan doesn't have Montreal on "Trade to" M NTC list.

I’m a Montreal fan, Price’s good, but playing with Alzner Schlemko Benn Reilly it is impossible to have good stats. He’s alone.

To be honest I don't see Montreal moving a player they named captain less then a year ago, and the goalie they singed to an 8 year deal last summer. If they are gonna win its gonna be with those guys

It’s just for fun. The next big move Bergevin will make is Danault & Shaw in 2 years at the trade deadline

Goalie @ UFA like Bobrovsky will cost them how much??? 9-10M /y... and they will have at least 5 team after him!
Johnson has a 20 team trade list and Montreal should be part of it... but not sure if Weber would be the right target... Maybe more Petry for Johnson + Callahan+ 2nd (to offset Callahan salary)

Why do you mention Bobrovsly to the Canes. There are other UFA goalies available I read that Johnson has a full NTC for a couple of more seasons then his M NTC kicks in

You are right about Jonhson.. Full Trade Clause until 2021... maybe Palat would need to be the target!

He's got a full NTC too. The guys that Tampa might want to move, Killhorn too, have these NTCs.
