imo Blues don't take that Bozak is actually contributing to the team right now as for Okposo dead cap imo, but I see where your coming from with him being a Winger. Maybe if you do a higher up pick like a 2nd maybe the deal gets done, but with this I'm not so sure it would get done.

You'd have to have a convincing pick to make me take Okposo. Very convincing. Yuck.

A big old no here. While Bozak hasn’t set the world on fire with a point total. He’s been a consistent performer all year. Rarely out of position and he’s winning 54% of his faceoffs.

I’d do something like:
Berglund, Sobotka, Thompson, 1st & 2nd
for O’Reilly

Weird how we traded ROR & now need a 2C
Reminds me of how Carolina is looking for scoring after they lost Skinner

Usually- the most obvious answer is the correct one

weird how you think bozak is a 2c but i have him at 3rd line and stl has him there too. maybe he is just good depth center and someone is sour. call me in 5 years if you havent made playoffs in that time we can talk about being sour.

ps Berglund is all yours

I didn’t call Bozak a 2C
And that trade gets rid of 1 problem, but causes another
Boxak at 5mil + 1.5mil retained
That’s 6.5mil of Cap space...
holy hell- no freaking way!

its actually cheaper in the long run as after 3 years its just 1.5m$ until okpo is done. (5x3 +1.5x5= 22.5) (6x5=30)

I’d rather just pay the asset(s) it’ll cost to get rid of him
Bozak for 6.5mil for 3 years is bod too
And like others said, no way StL does that
We’d still have to add anyways
