I don't see Carolina trading Hamilton for a defensive prospect, in Juolevi. If the canes send toronto a big piece in Hamilton, its gonna be for scoring. and to think they throw in Ferland and make their top 6 even worse makes no sense. Virtanen, Granlund, are both 3rd or 4th line guys and likely won't help scoring. It just makes no sense to trade a quality scoring dman and a top 6 forward, for a a defensive prospect, picks , and depth scoring. only reason I gave you 3 stars is because Waddell is a idiot and I can't put anything past him.

I think you can still get a good package from TO but I am not sure you'll get Kapanen. I think a fair trade would be Bracco and a 2nd or upgrade to a 1st for half his salary retained.

That Canes trade isn't near enough for the 2 of em idc if Hamilton is having a bad year either. Tanev won't get u Kapanen and a 4th. If u were to do that trade u have to send a higher pick with Tanev. Leafs could say better than Tanev for Kapanen
