Toronto needs to stock up. Tampa is very good and Toronto needs to gain some firepower. Nylander is underperforming and with Matthews and Marner needing new contracts they need to consider moving some salary. Panarin would give them an excellent chance to win the cup.

Then give us Jones.... lol no want for panarin here. No chance that we could re sign him. Better off trading him to a team that will.

Yeah exactly haha. I mean ur not getting jones but I’m pretty sure that was sarcasm tears of joy

That being said, leafs wouldn’t even consider trading nylander for Panarin straight up. Leafs don’t even need Panarin, they need D help.

A whole lot of sarcasm lol

Sadly we need scoring, I’ve been pretty happy with the D so far. Would love an upgrade, #1 potential RHD with some experience and term would be great but we may need to make due... the last thing I want is a bottom 4 that’s going to cost a lot or a rental for the same reasons. The last thing I want to do is move nylander, he will get back on track at some point. My list is pretty short for the Dmen I would move nylander (and most likely liljegren) for.

Way too much for the Leafs to give up for a rental. And Columbus is trying to make the playoffs or even win their division....it's that close. Why would do they trade their best forward?
