Toronto says no to all 3.
Hamilton isn't worth Kadri when he's been struggling so much. When he's at his best, maybe talk this idea. But he's been terrible this year and moving Kadri severely depletes Toronto's centre depth. One injury to either Tavares or Matthews and they're down to 1 NHL centre. Easy pass.
Brassard doesn't have much value, especially to Toronto. He'd be a bottom 6 guy that can play C or LW and he's making $3M which eats into the cap for bonuses to be paid this year instead of carrying over till next season. Lindholm can play that exact role and is much cheaper. He's been good this year too. & not sure Pittsburgh would swap Oleksiak for Hainsey. Both slow skaters, but at least Oleksiak has size and physcialness.
& there's no chance Toronto gives up a future top forward prospect and a 1st for a rental. Grundstrom is essentially exactly what Simmonds was at the same age. They're offensive guys with an edge for physical play. Toronto would just keep Grundstrom and play him, he's cheaper and under team control much longer. I don't see him getting moved unless it's in a deal for a top 2 right handed dman (think Parayko level). Leafs are pretty high on him.
You're 0/3.
