I can't remember a professional athlete starting a production company and/or hosting a TV show during the season or even while he's still playing before retiring. I find his selfishness and ego to be antithetical to the team-first mentality that almost all NHL players possess. There have been way bigger stars than him and none were trying to build their personal brand over the success of the team. It's not a coincidence that his offensive numbers are down this year. as well. His focus is clearly away from the ice. I also blame NBC for facilitating Subban's ventures into TV, but they're just doing what all the networks do. I hope everyone now sees why Bergevin traded Subban for Weber. Subban was too selfish and he was toxic in the locker room. He clearly wants to be in Hollywood more than Nashville.
