That doesn't improve Colorado at all. Kerfoot is their 2C at the moment. Kessel isn't an upgrade from Landeskog based on his age and he could be declining soon. The first is also a no deal you aren't getting a 2nd Kerfoot and Landeskog for Kessel and a prospect that isn't as good as Kerfoot's upside. I just don't think you can get this done unless Colorado had Chiarelli as General Manager.

Kessel's value is not that high. Avs wouldnt even look at that deal

Kerfoot is not our 2C but I agree the value is way off

Landeskog has comparable offensive numbers to Kessel this year and also has more goals than Phil (Landy is also much better defensively). Plus the fact that Kessel is 5 years older and Landeskog is our Captain this is easily a no from COL even before you add the 1st/2nd round pick and Kerfoot from COL and a B prospect from PIT
