Other than the fact that they might be late first rounders this is a scary thought. Tampa still has a strong team and 4 extra 1sts.....

You are still really good, but man that would hurt to loose him even if you get 4 1st rounders. Would be nice if it was an offer sheet from a lottery team as those Islander picks would be late firsts for the next 4 years.

I hope not. record for first round is terrible: Howden, DeAngelo, Drouin, Koekkoek, Namestnikov, Connolly all gone all still in the league but no except Drouin doing much.

Except that you get 10 million in cap space, so Panarin would seriously consider an offer. Think of it this way, four 1sts and 10 million worth of free agents. If that ends up being Panarin and four 1sts for Point..... Tampa doesn’t match an offer and laughs as they go straight to the top again with a ton of picks.

Good Point ... so to speak.. LOL .. but Point is rare bird .. top 10 player in NHL .. at 21 .. plus he a center not a forward .. plays power play AND is shutdown defensive center like Bergeron.. lot of people dont realize the comprehensive game he plays at 21 is just sick ..
