NOTES:
- We need to play Mac more. He does really well in +/- and tonight he was a +4.
- Coop's Line Blender has blessed us with the return of the Hedman-Sergachev pairing. I still have faith in Sergy!
- Killorn, who got a hat trick tonight, had 6 shots tonight. If he can get 3 goals on 6 shots, AGAINST WASHINGTON, then we need to get him the puck more.
- Sergachev got the least TOI of all 6 defensemen, even while on the first pair. Coop needs to let the kid loose, he's got a hell of a wrister.
- Paquette, Joseph and Erne had 5, 4 and 4 hits respectively tonight. Once the playoffs are here we may want to play them on the same line. Gourde should be in that 3RW spot anyway.
- Sergachev, while not getting very much ice time tonight, was 2nd among defensemen in power play time. Cooper clearly recognizes how good Sergy is offensively, but he needs to give Sergachev the minutes he deserves. Hedman is good enough defensively in case Sergachev makes mistakes.
- Speaking of the power play, we went 0/4 tonight.

Mc Donough is one of most valuable players on this team. Cernek has developed for a reason and Mc Donough wears the "A" for a reason.

Sorry cant agree with you on Sergy and Gourde .. Sergy good offensively but own zone disaster and pairing him with Hedman is disaster defensively. Gourde is 4th liner at best now .. Joseph has clearly passed him as has Paquette who is playing great.

Thoughts on rutta..I think he has been surprisingly decent. I read comments from hawks fans during the trade and they were not kind.

Agree on Rutta .. serviceable as 3rd to 4th pair D .. reality is with the way the 3rd and now 4th offense lines have been playing .. the D really doesn't have the pressure a normal pairing would have and almost zero need to be offensive .. just move puck out and watch .. no need to pinch in O zone if you are leading most of time and with the Tampa offense .. it really is a total team

His combination of size, strength, skating ability, hockey IQ (especially offensively), is extremely rare to come across. I think playing with Hedman would be one of the best options for developing his game.

Gourde is a 4th liner at best now?!?!? At best??? no words for this one lmao. Joseph & Paquette are clearly lower than Gourdo when ranking TB's fwds. Change my mind.
