Defense still sucks. Johnson is a dumpster fire. Gudbranson immobile. Letang fragile. Core getting old. Minors bare of true prospects. Trade Kessel for young mobile D. Dump Jack if not Erik.

Jack Johnson May have had a horrendous first couple of months, but the last few he has been decent to solid. Especially since being paired with Schultz. Gudbranson has been solid since coming here too. No reason to trade and get rid of them.

Not true, Johnson CORSI is one of the worst in the league and Gudbranson has reverted to form the last two weeks. Both are high draft picks that multiple teams have trumped for a reason. Pens have some of the best forwards in the game and need D's that can move the puck to your studs. Pitt is wasting the two best centers on the same team in the last 20 years.

Johnson’s Corsi is only 45.8. A lot better than the 30 something percent the first two months. Gudbranson has a 53 Corsi since being with the pens and hasn’t been a negative player, so I don’t see where he has reverted back the past two weeks. His advanced stats and plus/minus was atrocious with van and fla

We have plenty of D puck movers to get it to the forwards. It’s the forwards being careless with the puck that’s the problem with the pens.

So true. I'm a pens fan and a Malkin fan. Some nights though, take a shot every time Malkin tries a drop pass that ends up a turnover. It can turn ugly quick lol

Just watch Johnson and Gudbranson will sink the Pens in the playoffs. One or both will be gone before next season.

This is what happens when people only look at stat lines and don't actually watch games.

The Pens have won 2 of the last 3 Cups but are wasting their centers. Yeah, okay.

That's the past. Team is slow. Defense suspect. Stars brittle. Not going anywhere this year with Johnson and Gudbranson playing big minutes.
