I think MTL and Tor could make trades together but nothing really makes sense at the moment. MB had no problem sending Pleky to Tor or trading Sergachev to Tampa. I think its more about finding the right trade for both teams. IMO this isn't it.

Toronto needs to start making low cost trades to cut cap, not add it so while adding Petry and Lehkonen would be nice additions, they're still going to be up against the cap which is the reason for trading Kapanen if he asks for too high of a contract. Kind of defeats the purpose.

I didn't believe "we" were enemies, but then again, if a Hab fan just has to put McCarron in an NHL trade, I'll have to rethink my beliefs

McCarron, probably a nice guy, but unfortunately his skills, have never transferred into the NHL well. I remember when he was drafted, thinking he's guy that could be a monster. Logical selection fo the 1970s but in todays league, not so much.
If you want to trade a former first rounder to the Leafs, we'll take Poehling off your hands.

. What a shot of confidence he'll have entering training camp after playing his first NHL game last Saturday.
