Did he actually say he wasn't going after UFAs?

The only thing he confirmed was that Niemi wasn't being resigned. Everything else that you said isn't true

He said he would if it was good idea but if he didn't feel like it was worth he wouldn't do it

That's pretty generic lol. Why would he sign someone who he wasn't feeling?

Bergevin historically makes one big move every off-season. I can't help but think that looking at the left side of that defense, he isn't thinking about talking to the new Edmonton GM.

In general teams don't make huge changes in the off season so should anyone be surprised. Maybe you sign 1 or 2 players but usually they are role guys unless you got a lot of cap space. And if you are lucky enough to have a decent prospect pool maybe you get 1 or 2 guys from there. But if you were looking for huge sweeping changes on any team, you are kidding yourself. That's most likely not going to happen.

Said every GM who ever worked in the NHL!!!! Of course he's not going to tell us that he's gonna go after someone in specific, especially not when some of these guys are still playing this season.

Most long term UFA deals don't work out well. Re-sign your own...

He will look of course but said We might have the same team next year. If you read between the lines, of course he's going to stay quiet this summer. Wait for the prospect like Poehling Suzuki Brook Ylonen Romanov, no needs to push for a Duchene or Gardiner.

You think he will say CHARLES HUDON WILL NOT PLAY WITH MONTREAL NEXT YEAR. No he cant, because fafans like you are going to be mad. Hudon time is over with MTL, he was crying during the interview. You need to use your brain sometimes & not be like the ignorant journalists. No offense.

There are no places for Hudon next year in Montreal. But he would be a great fit in Laval if he clears waivers. He could replace some injured players during the season.
