Why trade Soderberg and Calvert? The Avs can be competitive now and those 2 would be big upgrades over Dach and Grant. Even if we only have cap space for one it would still benefit the team to keep one

You really think Duchene would go back to Col ?
Short term memory man!
Before being traded his situation was getting real nasty!

I think it was overstated. He wanted to be on a winning team, now that the avs are winning...

Very good discrepton on why you don’t want star player Duchene, good backup goalie for 1 year Eliot and trying to give pickard another chance

Not opposed to bringing Duchene back, although am weary. Eberle is past his prime and would not pay that premium for him, especially if we bring in Duchene. Furthermore, why bring in Pickard and Elliot if we have Francouz who could make a very capable backup.

Elliot is the backup pickard can go to the minors but incase one gets injured we have pickard, also pickard is backup the season after Becuase Elliot is only one year. And Duchene return to improve the 2nd line can’t hurt to have him back and eberle so avs have more than 1 top 6 RW

I read that somewhere. Word is that Duchene will most likely sign with OTT on July 1st. $60M / 7 years deal. He installed his family to the area, not too far away from his hometown Haliburton, ON and he's very happy there. He loved playing in Ottawa, had one of his best seasons there. The Senators will go up quickly with all the young players they have. He seems to want to be part of the new era which begins in OTT.
