Jets will not take your scraps for Trouba. They are also in cap hell so this trade just makes no sense.

I am normally around during the offseason when there's nothing to watch, but with the draft buzz I had to pop in.

Leafs need to close, I'd root for them before anyone else in the dance. I guess I am supposed to be rooting for the Stars lol.

I think TOR would be WAY overpaying for Trouba with that deal, especially because they'll only get 1 year of Trouba. Everyone thinks Trouba is a 1D, but his numbers and metrics very much say otherwise. So giving them Liljegren (a very similar player to Trouba) and Kapanen, and a pick (with Brown as a throw in) doesn't help that D, and it weakens the 3rd line. Plus, the cap is still broken (especially cause Marleau isn't going anywhere).

Marleau is not waiving for Arizona, and Trouba does not want to play in Canada.
