Remove the EDM 1st (but not the BUF 1st) and we can have a rational conversation.

With the drafting of Bouchard, I don't see why Oilers would make a move for Ristolainen personally. Adam Larsson and Bouchard should be our top 2 RHD for years to come.

The only thing I see happening to Oilers defense is Sekera or Russel B moved for a similar RHD contract

With that said, I am a big fan of what RNH brings to the team so I might be biased.

Trading RNH means we can't play McDavid - Draisaitl together who combines for 2 goals each game. League average scoring is around 3 goals per game. We NEED Nuge.

I would consider something like the sj first this year, along with risto, to fix the giant hole we have at center, but im not remotely considering moving future buffalo firsts, let alone unprotected ones, until we get several things figured out.

As a Sabres fan, the Oilers would say no...why would they give up their 2019 first and we only have to give up a 2020 first? Makes no sense.

Also, next year's draft is only good at the top...otherwise it's not as good as this year.

Ristolainen and a 2nd round pick for RNH.


And if we got RNH, I sure as hell hope we give him better wingers than Okposo and Sheary.
