Description

With two min salary vets this just meets the cap (which is set at 83.5 which is already 500K higher than many predict). When Hyman comes back and a guy like Mikhayev or Petan or Holl gets waived/sent down thats another 1.5 million.

This team needs a little more trimming for cap reasons

(note Dermott is on a tiny cap hit, so his coming back won't mess with the cap)

Not enough for Pulock, Kapanen is a good start, add to that a 1st and maybe a good prospect and its closer. Brown for Bear is an absolute steal for Toronto and I doubt Holland would make a trade like that. You could get Benning

Pulock has the potential to be a number one defenseman and has really flourished under Trotz's system. I don't see them moving him

Toronto will have take a bigger contract like matt benning, oilers need cap space and won't trade any defensive prospects.

Oilers decline, we know we have lots of awesome d players that are or almost NHL ready, but we are open to trading one of our prospects, just better be a good offer

leafs fans have an obsession with Pulock, he is not getting moved. Trotz played him as the #1 d man, unless there is a larger package including your #1 dman then you should stop.
