The knee-jerk 5 minute major on Eakin was atrocious. If it was a penalty, a big if, it was a minor cross check. That was as bad as the no call pass interference on the New Orleans Saints in the NFC championship game. Just brutal.

Should have been a minor on Eakin but the non call on Stasny has me scratching my head.

That said, should have been 2 minutes debatable whether 1 or 2 guys in the box.

How about the Blais headshot on Braun that didn't get called even though it happened infront of the ref.

They need to give the refs another ref upstairs, rotate with other two all year, ice upstairs and be able to buzz down for second looks onto a tablet, and any coaches reviews are right or penalty. Change reviewable and non renewable, get it right or inconclusive

Thought tonight's hand pass has been the worst.. amazing that it beat the Columbus goal that went off the netting .. 4 refs missed it .. puck bounces back in front of net for goal .. all players stopped and looked for puck as bounced high in air off net ..
