Muzzin is EVERYTHING we ever wanted Gards to be.
Maybe we should hang on to him. Also he is worth a lot more than that lol. Same with Kadri.
My grievances with the Pesce trade have been well stated before and I wont repeat them again, partially due to not knowing who Wallmark is.

Muzzin trade is Dubas admitting he screwed up. They traded a 1st and 2 B level prospects not 4 months ago. That trade is doubtful. The Carolina trade is not entirely bad, although I'm sure you'll be slammed here for it. But too much from CAR, maybe leave off Wallmark. Other than that, it's not bad. I think Zaitsev will be the sacrificial lamb on D. Dermott was pretty good on the right side when he played there. He could and should be a third pairing d man anyways.

I'd rather see Zaitsev go for cap relief just like anyone else ... but seeing as how theyre thin on the RHD side, and he's got term ... I think it's just easier to trade Muzzin for cap relief.

It would be a lot easier to trade Muzzin, but Zaitsev is over paid for what he brings and requires a strong partner to be effective. Muzzin's departure would hurt them much more. Again, I do believe, barring a trade we'll see Dermott on the right side, what with Rosen ready to make the jump and my belief that Muzzin is going no where for now.

Trading Muzzin just to sign Myers to a horrible deal..

Just really poorly thought out. Muzzin is 10x the defenseman Myers is.
