Description

Kadri trade value-wise could be off, and if it is, what would be a more fair trade from Carolina?

Either way, I think Kadri would be a good fit for Carolina...barring they're not on his 10 team no trade list.

Kadri would be top-6 C for you not 3C. Valuewise if I could I would change Smallman and 3rd to Saarela.

Necas likely gets a chance at 3rd line centre next year. So with Aho and Staal I can't see them making a trade for Kadri. Maybe a 3 team trade with Kadri and Faulk, with Carolina getting a winger from the 3rd team. Carolina would want Nylander or Kappy from the Leafs

Kadri three year term compared to Faulk's one year probably favours the Canes too much, but the trade value is still pretty good. But really any purpose of a Leaf trade should be to shed cap, not staying neutral or in this case even adding to it.

I wouldn't if I were the Canes, but all reports say he is leaving. He also had 0 goals in his last 17 games and is apparently looking for Tom Wilson type of $$...

Value-wise, Kadri for Faulk and the Buffalo 2nd would be right, but due to Toronto's cap problem, any deal along these lines would require Carolina to retain half of Faulk's salary.

Carolina isn’t trading Pesce. I’m saying they want Nylander or Kappy in a trade for their other RD
