Description

I got the idea from the "What is trouba worth in trade" and added to it. I figure if WPG loses Trouba and Myers they'll need another RD, so I added Ristolainen. I feel like Trouba is worth less than the 7th overall but Ehlers is worth more than Risto, plus the Jets get serious cap relief. Maybe I'm biased, but it's not a bad trade for either team. Buffalo signals that it's finished with losing and is serious about bringing in talent and will spend to the cap to be competitive.

By rights Duchene should be earning more than Skinner, I just made all 3 contracts the same for simplicity.

Not nearly enough for both trouba and ehlers. Add at least buffalos 2020 1st and nylander and probably something else

I don't mind adding Nylander and something of lesser value, but not the 2020 1st round pick. I don't think it's far off.

Neutral observer here...I think BUF is getting the better half of this deal. I think adding another player like Nylander would even things up nicely.

Win gets under the cap. That's worth a lot.

The 7th overall pick is worth a lot.
