Just once, I'd like to see the title of one of these threads read: "EK65 does not take a pay cut" or "EK65 takes fair market value".

Also fyi I think 9.5 mill is actually pretty spot on for what he'll get lol, maybe an even 10 mill mainly due to his recent injury woes.

To me he seems like a declining player.
When he sits down with teams, he better have an army of doctors and paperwork to prove he that is only injured short term and not long term.

Even then, IMO he should not being getting this kind of money based his play of the last 2 years.

Sadly, someone will overpay to get him but I'm thinking it will not be contender right now, could be a team that is ready to contend soon. Dont think its Tampa though, I dont see them being able to move enough their NTC/NMC players to do this.

I think Point gets offer sheeted

ON point .. if he gets offer sheet as RFA:

1. 8.4M - right under level .. costs 1 first 1 2nd and 1 3rd .. Tampa matches

2. 9M - cost TWO firsts 1 2nd and 1 3rd .. Tampa thinks really hard and new GMs job depends on answer

3. 11M - costs 4 #1s as compensation for RFA .. Tampa says see ya. I LOVE Point but that a ton
