Good trade overall, but no way Nashville does it with them being close to the cap. Considering being close to the cap they will value Fabbro more as well. Also I would rather keep Kapanen over Johnsson, Kapanen kills penalties and same offense.
Johnsson is much better, is left handed and doesn’t waste possession with low percentage shots, that’s why kappy goes.

Honestly, I like that trade for nashville in terms of value - but I just don't see the preds trading Fabbro so early in his career, so I don't think they do it. And I don't think I would. Although it's tough...

Yup. Imagine the headlines: "Cap strapped team takes on players that push them over cap-Trade away top prospect and any hope of staying under"
Think the headlines would read capstap team sheds turris and smith and replaces with better cheaper options moves granlund and signs Duchene...
That’s the upside to this trade for the preds.
They would shed 10.25m and replace with 7.5m. Moving Granlund would give them the cap space to sign Duchene and run Duchene,Kadri and Johansen down the middle. With forsberg, kapanen, Arvidsson, jankrok, bonino and Watson/Sissons fighting for a spot in the top 9 they finally have the depth the y need and a strong defence.
