i'm not even a leaf's fan and i would trade Zaitsev, Kadri and more for a bag of pucks in order to re-sign Marner.

Remove the 1st round pick and Minnesota might make that trade. Marner is great, but Dumba isn't someone the Wild are going to want to trade. Dumba is as untouchable on their roster as Matthews is on Toronto's.

Edit: forgot Johnsson is a left shot, so pass. Minnesota already has too many left wings.

Take Zucker and Johnsson out of that trade and substitute Greenway. Now you're still under the cap and you have an additional high-quality forward and the Miller and Zaitsev trades aren't necessary.

Thats not that bad really, in another trade on here involving Miller some guy was trying to tell me Vegas would only move him for a top prospect like Suzuki.. ?
