AZ is on the 8 team no trade list........ but i doubt the coyotes give up chychrun

Arizona is a popular destination because of his relationship with Rick Tocchet but I agree Minnesota is probably closer to a playoff team than Arizona is? Did it make sense from a value standpoint at least?

IMO, no. Everyone knows Pittsburgh wants Kessel and Johnson gone. Regardless of how good a player is, the Pens have zero negotiating power because of that.

Exactly the 8 team list is a list of teams that he can be traded to without any approval from Kessel whatsoever. Kessel would need to agree to a trade to any team that is not on that 8 team list.
