Also...this has bugged me for a while, but there is an error on one of the trades listed in the 2011 draft for pick #75. The details are correct, but have to flip the teams.

-- 2002: DAL traded Jamie Langenbrunner to NJD on 3/19/02 (with Nieuwendyk for Arnott, McKay, 1st round pick)
-- 2011: NJD traded Jamie Langenbrunner to DAL on 1/6/11 (for a 2011 3rd round pick, which turned out to be #75, the pick Devils used to select Blake Coleman).

Its a one that can be easier switched up because Langenbrunner came from Dallas, went back to Dallas (and Coleman grew up in Dallas).

For instance, "2011 3rd round pick (DAL - #75 - Blake Coleman)" should read "2011 3rd round pick (NJD - #75 - Blake Coleman)"

The same error appears on Langenbrunner's trade page as well.

Vladislav Lukashevich, Panthers LHD prospect, who is now playing in USHL, has committed to Northern Michigan for 2024-25 season. He is currently listed as “indefinite” on Florida’s Reserve Page. (Will be 21-year Freshman). Would need to update the date his rights expire.

A couple of other players that should have NCAA reflected on reserve page (with Aug 15 date)

1. Tom Willander (VAN) will be a first-year at Boston University this year.
2. Dans Locmelis (BOS) will be a first-year at UMass

Lastly, Samuel Sjolund is in his 2nd year at Western Michigan. If he was drafted in 2019, played in Sweden in 2019-20 and 2020-21, then USHL in 2021-22, on NCAA roster for 2022-23....his rights should still be owned by Dallas.

Also, not sure these guys still have their rights owned by their teams

1. Andong Song attended Cornell, but never made team. Not sure he is even playing hockey anymore.
2. Ethan Bowen played two full years of junior following draft. Was originally committed to North Dakota for 2021-22 season, then Vermont for 2022-23...but has since has retired.

I just wanted to put this out there, I was doing a team of players I have met, but when I went to put someone on, they were missing. I know I've met retired players before but I know he isn't retired. Cal O'Reiley plays for the Milwaukee Admirals right now. It seems weird that he isn't listed on their roster at all.

They’re just making me mad. Under no circumstances is Drake Batherson that good.

I've just noticed that Adam Raska is listed as a left-shot, but both EliteProspects and the AHL's website have him listed as a right-shot.

On Nashville's page, Egor Afanasyev is listed as being on SOIR yet he's played 10 games for the Milwaukee Admirals in the AHL on the fantasy tools depth chart, is listed as in the AHL

Ottawa’s 2012 pick Tim Boyle is still listed on reserve with “indefinite” expiry. He retired a few years ago and rights should have expired in 2016.

I can confirm the senators still own his rights even though he has retired.

Interesting. Do you know how?

Cannot think of what would keep his rights for Ottawa. Drafted as NCAA player, left NCAA, played NA pro three years, then retired. Now 30 years old. He didn’t play in league without JA. I am guessing he withdrew for school. He is over 27.

The conditional pick from Timo Meier Trade is listed on the 2025 draft page

The first condition has been settled as Sharks received NJD 2023 1st
*Conditions: If the pick is a top-two selection, New Jersey will instead transfer their own 2024 first-round pick.

On the second condition, we have to wait to see if NJD makes 2024 ECF to determine if NJD's 2024 1st rounder is moved.
**Conditions: If NJD make the 2023 Eastern Conference Final (ECF) and Meier plays in 50% of the games, or NJD make the 2024 Eastern Conference Final, the pick becomes NJD's 2024 1st.
If 2024 1st is top 10, NJD have the option to instead transfer their 2025 1st.
Should NJD transfer their 2023 1st to their 2024 1st (As it is top 2 protected), and they make the conference final in 2024, SJS will receive their 2025 1st.

But since they cannot get to ECF *and* get to top-10 in same year's draft, the latter portion of this condition (bolded) should be moot (and the pick could not turn into a 2025 1st).

Thanks the draft board has been updated.

Under the "Retained Salary" section, it still has Ekman-Larsson's retained deal as "current contract"
