Allen lost his job to a rookie. Who has literally done everything Allen couldn't. I'm not sure there are any teams salivating at the thought of getting a perennial disappointment. let alone for a 1st.

Well if you look at Pro Hockey Rumors, the Flyers are considering trading their first for someone with multiple years of control. Allen is that and in this deal they get back a second so it's not that far fetched.
