In this hypothetical situation, it would be wise from the other teams to offer sheet them with maximum contracts that will bring you only second rounders. Not sure what the pulock for trouba trade gets you. Seems to be a marginal upgrade, and you're paying trouba more even after pulock's extension.

In my opinion Trouba is a tad more ready to take the leading D role of a team than Pulock, and if NYI goes all in like in this post they could benefit from this deal, while WPG saves money and gets also a very good and cheaper D for their second line. This could benefit both of the teams.
