LOL no, we include in a deal alone of our best prospects, but for what? To dump Sobotka or something? Buffalo decline.

Two prospects overrated by our own fans but we'll find that out in a few years. I probably overpaid but a 2C and solid winger was worth it for a team with absolutely nothing outside of 4-5 players last season.

Disagree, Pilut a very good prospect with a bright head, Nylander maybe overrated, but at the level of the NHL, he showed a good game, now I want to see how he plays in the NHL a full season under Krueger, and you give Risto and Stl 1st and threed round. Callahan cap dump they have to pay to drop it, Miller and Johnson are certainly good players, but this deal is pretty bad for Buffalo, you've for some reason included Sobotka to lower the value of the deal for Buffalo.
A fair deal will look something like this:

Risto
Cornel
2020 2nd

for

Callahan
Miller
Johnson

Thanks for the effort of putting together a team. A few points:

1. You actually did not improve the Sabres at all unless your belief is you need to take a step back before you can go forward but who am I to judge;
2. I am not one who thinks Risto needs to be run out of town but I have to wonder if you are a Bolts fan as that deal with Tampa is so out of bounds from a Sabres perspective. Risto a top 4D.... Pilut showed he can play a well balanced NHL game in his first exposure to the NHL.... Nylander has not been healthy for a full season to see what he can actually do (then again maybe why you want to move him is injury prone)... to top it off you throw in a 1st & 3rd Round picks.... we can suffer through one last year with Sobotka;
3. Unless Zucker has done something that we joe public do not know about I do not see Minny moving Z for what is being offered but hey let's hope they say yes;
4. I realize you are up against the Cap but Ullmark will be $2,000,000 to $2,250,000 a year;

I actually think Pilut is overrated. I know you haven't heard that from many sabres fans. I worry about him being able to hold his own for 82 games at his size. I just don't think his skill will make up for his lack of size tenacity or toughness. I hope I'm wrong but I seriously think many sabres fans are overrating him. Nylander I actually don't think is overrated he's about where he should be.

Don't know, I really like Pilut, of course he has flaws, but he's a good player, how many games he will play I don't know, but he quoted quite high among our prospects, well this is my personal opinion, of course you may not agree.

I really really want to agree because I like some of his talent but his flaws scare me. I haven't seen an off-season with so much disagreement among fans about the direction we need to go from here. Fans values of players are all over the board. I think it's a testament to how bad we've been. We're not even sure where to go.

I'm not saying hes bad either I'm just saying a lot of fans think he's a top 4 lock and imo he's a long way away.

My opinion is that we need to see how the team plays with the new coach, I do not like Housley and his methods also it certainly influenced many players, so if no one offers or does not appreciate our players, just leave them and see how they play with Krueger. The deal with Tampa is proof of that.

I think he may well be the top 4 in the future, while he is injured and the beginning of the season seems to miss, and then he will either get in shape with Rochester, or start on the third line, I'm not saying that he should immediately play 20 + minutes in the top 4, no, just assess the player and his potential for the future.

It's a good point with the coach change. Honestly, these trade I know are very unlikely to happen. I'm just throwing some poop at the wall while bored and seeing what sticks.

Pilut would be the only piece there to hold me up but I struggled to find anyone else that Tampa would want instead. Tage Thompson? Idk.

BUFFALO should just focus on who they have in trade .. I like Miller .. WAY more than Tampas other 4 "middle wings" .. he way underutilized in Tampa and no PP and still had 50 plus points .. dollars to donuts he gets 60 plus points as 2nd line center in Buffalo .. Johnson or really any of Tampaa middle group will deliver 40 pts plus minus .. so you getting 100 pts in front 6 adds .. and you talking about role players? .. jeesh isnt it bad enough watching O Reilly
