Why acquire Hagg? Anisimov should get a 3rd round pick back, instead we have a useless 1 year rental and a 6th round pick.

Vegas is a good trade except Reaves takes away much needed icetime from Kubalik and potentially Sikura. Kubalik is on a 1 year prove it deal which means he will see the ice.

Vegas says no in 2 seconds. Both players would be scratched. Vegas can get rid of contracts for better picks or prospects. They dont need to give away Eakin.

Why trade for Murray, he's just gonna miss a ton of games. Gus got 60 points last season, he's a top 4 LHD, play him there.

They can both play in the top 4. We still need a top 4 LHD to help soak up minutes. Put Murphy with Seabrook on the bottom pair, Murray and Joki together, and Gus on Keith's right.

Keith-Murphy
Gus-Joki
Cheap FA LHD-Seabrook

Murray will miss half the games, he's good but just not worth it.

I completely disagree, Murphy and Gus should not both be top 4 defensemen. Murray is a defensive defenseman that is proven in the top 4. Murphy is good, but I think he's a #5 guy on a good team. Murray can take up PK1 minutes and lockdown other teams top line with Jokiharju or Murphy. Even if he misses a few games, a solidifying presence on the left side in the top 4 is necessary. Guys like Dillon, De Haan, and Brodin are also good options.

You could probably get Dillon relatively cheap from SJ I'd think.
So if Murphy and Murray were paired together they're your 3rd pairing?

I would say no. The hawks have a surplus of middle 6 forwards, they probably need to trade someone away before the season even starts. As for Perlini, I would rather keep him, he’s younger and cheaper. If he’s able to find his game, Bowman will have won the Strome/Schmaltz trade big time. Even if he truly doesn’t find his game, production is close enough.

I think teams you should be looking to trade with are rangers, flyers and hurricanes.

You're breaking the handedness rule, Babcock hates that... ?
