Description
Blackhawks have 3.07M in overage from the '15-16 season to carry forward.

The word is cap will rise to 72.8M with escalator.

This does not include bonuses Panarin will earn in 2016-17. That will go towards overage carried into 2017-18.

Have confirmed both of these multiple times already. I have done the calculations multiple times, bonuses and Scuderi (and Rundblad) are automatically counted in. As for the cap, see this link:

He is a reliable source (if you haven't heard of him already) and he mentioned in a different tweet right then as well that cap would be $74 million. Couldn't fit it all in one tweet.

Cool thanks. I was skeptical because we've been told these things before from people who didn't do the math themselves and they turned out to be wrong. Good to know now.

Dude, it's 73. Jut confirmed by the NHL. 72.8 was closer grin
