If I had to choose between two potential franchise d-men over 1RW and a middle-6 winger, I'd choose the d-men.

I would politely point out that the 4th position in the draft doesn't seem so obvious to me this year. Who would be that player? I'd be scared in that position. Makar is great, no doubt, but other than that the return falls short for the Leafs.

What about Marner for the Rangers' first pick instead?
