Not a single trade would go through here. ARI have no true reason to move Hossa, he's on LTIR, and 2nd rounder isn't enough compensation to take Marleau. They want Bracco or something similar in value. CGY can't afford Kadri. You won't get anything of value for Zaitsev, and DAL is in no place to move picks when they have moved all their 2nd and 3rd rounders for the last two years. CAR trade is pointless, value is overboard but CAR doesn't need your picks, they're better team than TOR, and generally better teams are not moving their best contracts. Bottom-6 winger, random prospect and low first are not tempting enough pieces for Spurgeon. Dermott is the only interesting piece there, but not good enough.

Fenton has said extending Spurgeon this off-season is a priority and Spurgeon indicated he’d love to stay in Minnesota in his exit interview with the media so sounds like it’s just a matter of finding the right deal. Doubt he’s traded unless it’s an overpay which this most certainly isn’t for a top pairing dman.

The Wild would take that package in a second for a pending UFA. At some point they have to realize they are hot garbage and need to retool at the very least
You are right about the Pesce deal, they wouldnt want to move, but no GM would let an overpayment like that be offered without taking it. They could just turn around and sign a high end UFA and use the picks elsewhere, and resign Faulk-Hamilton-TVR

The Marleau makes sense if the Coyotes have cap. That's a good trade.
If Dallas likes Zaitsev for five years....then that's trade to. Heck the Leafs might not even take anything in return. Zaitsev for seventh rounder
Then you go off the rails with this silly trade for Spurgeon. Severe overpayment, and the always silly...he will extend immediately. But I don't get the thought. You trade Kadri for futures then trade a lot more futures to obtain Spurgeon. I would rather have all those young assets rather than Sprugeon. Then you have some cap freedom next summer.

Spurgeon wants to re-sign and it seems Wild wants to keep him. I don't think he's going anywhere.

Even if he did, they can get better offers.

I don't think Marleau is going to Arizona, they have so little cap room I don't see why they do it.

Wouldn't Kadri/Kap for Pesce/Wallmark be almost better for Carolina? They want offence, not draft picks. Pesce or Hamilton, I would have to think they would at least consider that move. Makes both teams better.

I am on board with the Spurgeon move, don't think you're getting him for that. Maybe that's where you look for a TJ Brodie? Makes a lot of sense as a 2nd pair guy. Also I doubt you're getting Honka back from Dallas. Also remember, they healthy scratched him and instead played Roman Polak on their 2nd pair. I am not sure you want to pencil that guy into our lineup if he was two players below Polak.

Seems like you are one of those that doesnt check backup for trading Teams, cause i do.

ARI - i give you that one tho, 7,7M is tight, I should pick LA as i have in my previous threads, my bad. They want Bracco ? they can have it and some more, first three lines are set, for next 5 years, noone will make it out of fourth line in that time span

CGY - so the situation is, they have RHD : Hamonic, Brodie, Stone as "rentals" and Andersson ( where Brodie is getting lame and Stone is done ) where Andersson is set to play 2nd Pair. Guess what will happened with Brodie and Stone and their 8,15M combined. Curentlly teams that would immidiate benefit with Kadri are CGY. DAL, ANA, MIN and PHI from my "researches"

DAL - ye, seems like they care about those 3rd Round picks a lot and they wont sacrifice additional one to not be forced to play Polak on 2nd Pair.

CAR - is better Team then TML ? ok, didnt really show in 5 goals for in their four games against BOS and even the Leagues best D set that they are rolling at the moment didnt help them with that right ? So they ditch D for scoring and thats for a guy you can see in almost every CAR thread ( they still adore Sami you know ) where they are trading out their Ds and on top of that they get overpayment in whole trade. ( check what Jangle29 wrote ) CAR as NYI as STL were these years wonders riding on emerging Goalies magic

MIN - well, he maybe wants to re-sign but again.....my package is defenite overpayment for one year, Brown is 4th liner only in TML cause of depth, would be 2nd line immidiate in MIN ( Rask is struggling sadly ), if Babcock and TML would "listen my advice" last summer they would play him in 2nd Line ( instead they naively boosted Johnsson and Kapanen which now backfires ) with Matthews and kid would have 40 points Season to show.

Kadri for futures is what others do with Kadri for RHD. At the moment we can still pull 1st for Kadri and while not many Teams are in the need for Kadri, especially not the ones that have Top RHDs in surplus ( CAR ) or on the way out ( MIN ) you go for 1st Round. Manson is third in my line, but hes only RHD left in ANA now. But if you give those Teams 1st Rounder, they can use it to climb higher with it in Draft which defenitelly brings more appeal for them to miss their RHD just traded.

Maybe yes, as i stated in upper post, i failed here with ARI, should stick to LAK like i did in my previous threads.

Kadri isnt needed in CAR from what i was in "talks" with their fan base, but again, AGMs arent the guys with cigars and cognac glasses in their hands cropping 2M per months, we are just playing game here

As for Brodie, i yield to the guy whos CGY is second Team after TML

Imagine gardiner Trying to play the right side without the slick skating and less offence... that’s Brodie.

As for Honka...hes "bust" maybe changing environment would help him, tho im only looking for cheap rental thru 2019/2020 cause next Season Sandin and Liljegren are filling in for 3rd Pair and i doubt Zaitsev will bring in what Dubas set on market.

Spurgeon...i think i overpaid quite ok, hes "rental" and they are getting 1st, Brown that can jump on 2nd Line directlly in MIN plus Dermott as immidiate substitute for Spurgeon or 3rd Pair LHD
