Listen, I know there are a lot of drugs in Vegas, but the front office of the knights isn’t taking them

How is W.Karlsson's value not high?
With the shortage of centers in the league especially 2nd line centers Vegas could certainly get something better then that for him.

He declined so much this year and they are in no position to really get much for him.

McAvoy isn't getting more than 7, and a bridge deal is perfect for Carlo (think Auston Matthews). Johansson's last contract was for 4.5, and the report is that he may be willing to take a discount to stay.

McAvoy will get close to 8.5 for anything that’s 6 or above.

4 years for Carlo takes him to UFA as quickly as possible. Doesn’t buy out a single year. Its literally the worst possible term you could give him.

Matthews didn’t take a bridge. It was a 5 year extension. Basically a 6 year contract.

There have been no reports from anyone reliable regarding Johansson. In fact, the only speculation is about how his value went up.

Yes, a 5 year contract keeps the player signed for 6 years.

Did you miss the word EXTENSION? He signed it this year. Still had 1 year left on his deal. 1+5=6.

It's a contract that is for 5 years, and it is 100% a bridge deal seeing as how Nylander signed for 8 years

Nylander signed for 6 years. But no. Bridge deal is anything less than 4. The max free agent contract is 7 years and you’re trying to tell me that 5 is a bridge?
