Idk if this happens but I am nearly positive the Rangers are going with Deangelo over Pionk. Probably trade pionk's rights

And to add if any offer sheet was to go out the best target would be Tampa and Brayden Point (equal player to Marner). Tampa has no cap room a bunch of RFAs to sign and Vasilevsky to sign next year

Isn't the worse reason to overpay a player and lose four first rounders.....because you're pissed at another player. IMO, Rangers should be glad Karlsson signed with San Jose.

Anyway they have Trouba now.
