Connor is more or less equal value to Mantha.

Connor and Mantha is about even trade value, ok thats close enough. That leaves AA and 2nd for a 31yr old who had as many points as AA had goals.

So why not Scheifele and Connor for Athanasiou and Mantha?

Now I know that trade is absurd and never happen because it favors the Wings heavily.

But it's not a whole lot more absurd than the trade you've offered here.

Loooooooove Connor but hell no.....1 of mantha or AA in pkg for Connor or straight up ..thats realistic ...wings only have 3 ..30 goal type on roster now..& u want 2 of them for 1 ..u realize Yzerman is considered one of best GMs on NHL ..not a rookie..no ty

Why dump AA Detroit doesn't need to dump him. Show me the math that makes you think AA needs to be dumped.

Ok so you are saying AA, Mantha + a 2nd for Connor and a cap dump. Than might work in Cheveldayoff was in Detroit but he is in Winnipeg giving away a top pair defenseman for a bottom 6 guy and the 20th pick in the draft.
