In what world do you live where Marner is worth 4 1st rounders? Nobody's going to qualify him. You either trade him or sign him and trade others.

Drafts are much deeper than before, I'd rather have 4 1sts than Marner. Period.

As a leaf fan this interests me. Depending on what we would get for the two 1sts. You turn that into pesce and a prospect and you are laughing. Dcore is set for years and still more cap left over to add a UFA winger

Exactly. Leafs would rather keep Marner and work the contract than sell for less than max value.

Agreed. The Leafs should demand that teams take Zaitsev in any trade with Marner.
