I don't think Marner signs for 8 years regardless of the price tag. If the rumours are true Toronto has presented Marner's camp with an Auston Matthews level money deal and 8 years and apparently it was not received very well. Seems like he wants a 5-6 year deal.

don't forget to trade for Nikita Kucherov, and Nikita Gusev. keep Nikita Zaitsev too. 5 Nikita's are better than 2

The only one I take issue with is the Avs deal.
Zadorov and Jost aren't living up to their potential while Naz is locked into a good contract for a 2C. They'd have to add to get that done

Maybe. Depends on what they see in Jost really. I see a bust personally but that's just my opinion. If anybody thinks he can be a 45-55pt guy then yeah it's probably closer

I lean more towards your opinion than some I have seen on here about Jost/Zadarov.
That's also why personally I'd rather trade in another deal than to Colorado.
I feel the Leafs would get better value in another deal.
