I like what GMBM has done so far

Description
We might as well move Djoos out. We have a ton of LHD coming up through the system, and unless Vrana takes $3.1-3.3M on a bridge, we won't be able to afford Djoos even at his QO.

I proposed a deal like that few weeks ago for Djoos and some Caps fans told me I was crazy. I would add another mid rounds pick personally. I really like Djoos.
But I guess not a single team wants to trade with us anymore ... # offersheet

I really like Djoos, but he's just in a position where we have a ton of depth. If it was next season, I'd probably listen on Orlov if the package was right, just because we have such a good pool of LHD prospects.

Agree. With Alexeyev and Johansen coming up. I really hope Bergevin is considering Djoos. A 3rd rd pick is cheap for a guy like him.

MTL have a ton of Djoos right now... with Kulak & Reilly signature... We need a TOP LHD or stay with who we have

Good job here and it might have to come down to something like this to get V in the fold.

I would be fine with this. I think org thinks Fehervary is ready right now, this second, to be an NHLer. They aren't going to say that publically, but I think his level of competition plus how hes improved plus his incredible tools (his game speed and acceleration already are better than any prospect Caps have had in years) add up to him being super close.

Djoos is solid, but if he somehow thinks he deserves more, I don't think Caps blink.

Djoos is a playoff beast and any team would be lucky to get him for a 3rd round pick. The Caps do have a ton of good defensemen coming up, and can afford to move him for that kind of a return.

At the same time, his value is in puck movement, positioning, and skating speed. None of that shows up yet in arbitration, so he might have totally messed himself over by filing. You don't want to see a team overdo it on negativity against its own player, but if they didn't care one way or another, the team could easily make a case that he's earned 800k, going forward.
