I thin NHL and AHL are different when it comes to goalies. You can have two #1s because of the odd schedule the AHL has, playing 3 games in 3 days. You tend to need 2 really good goalies to make it in the AHL. So don't know if definitely means a goalie will be moved.

They have another goalie in the AHL that they signed from Finland who is better than Jarry and could arguably take DeSmith’s job in a year. So Wilkes-Barre already has two number ones.

One of them has to be traded bc they're both on one way deals and can't be sent to the AHL without having to clear waivers, plus we already have Larmi D'Orio and DUSTIN TOKARSKI

I think I want them to trade DeSmith because he’d save $575K on the cap compared to Jarry and they could prob get good value for him.

They signed another goalie from Finland about a month ago who is supposed to take over as the AHL Starter.

Also, Murray's contract is up next summer. If he's gonna want Price money he may get moved and may have Larmi (Finnish goalie) and DeSmith/Jarry share time for a year. Don't know. But I agree either Jarry or Desmith get traded this summer as part of a package probably with JJ. My guess is Jarry. At 24 it's a better bargaining chip.

I’m totally with you on this...I feel like Jarry is the perfect sweetener for a JJ dump.
